what should you do if a burglar comes to your house at night?
should you be quiet and silent, hide in the closet, make noise to scare them….??? last night i heard very scary noises like someone was in the house and then my alarm system went off. i think it went off because of the bad weather but if there ever is a burglar what do you do?

Turn on lights, make lots of noise, make it obvious that you’re in the house. But give them time to get out of the house if you think they’re in it. You don’t want a confrontation, you just want them gone.

I would first have a heart attack and die, then I wouldn’t have to worry about it. my dog would alert me she is 100 pounds and the slightest sound around the house or movement she goes off, even if it is just a deer we see all the time or a possum or a raccoon. I have had her wake me when a deer was close to the house. but usually she just whines some when she sees them in the yard. she sees people and goes off so I can usually tell her barks apart.
but let’s say the person is determined enough to face off my dog then they are dangerous!!! I have me and my hubby. we could go onto the roof from the window or we could brace the door. if a thought of gun we bail out of the house through the roof which isn’t that high but high enough to break a leg. if cornered I have a metal baseball bat.
